Summary

The Caribbean development agenda must include the integration of Internet-enabled technology, as the Internet is now considered foundational to both economic growth and social empowerment. Cybersecurity is key to achieving a secure online environment in which Caribbean businesses across all industries can compete and collaborate internationally. This 8-hour meeting, coordinated by CaribNOG, will share technical knowledge on cybersecurity and facilitate the exchange of professional experiences and best practices. The meeting will consider some key elements that help create the conditions for a more secure, resilient, reliable and affordable Internet for all. The meeting is free-of-charge but registration is strictly required.

Audience and prerequisites

The meeting is geared primarily towards professionals who design, build, maintain and secure the computer networks for organisations across the region, in addition to other ICT professionals, policy makers, university students, and network administrators from public and private sectors.
